HANNAH WEBSTER

MedLaw Paralegal

Hannah Webster is a Staff Paralegal at Center for Elder Law & Justice in the MedLaw Unit. She assists attorneys advocating for client patients’ rights. Hannah mainly assists our clients at ECMC.

Hannah received her BA in Journalism/Public Relations from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania (PennWest – Edinboro) in 2018. She is originally a WNY native who traded in snowy winters for sunshine and beaches, before returning to the frozen tundra. While in Los Angeles, Hannah started with Jubilee Year Los Angeles (a service-based program similar to AmeriCorps) interning at Interfaith Refugee and Immigration Service where she quickly learned her passion for advocacy, social justice, and human rights initiatives could be utilized in the law field.

Hannah participated in UCLA Extension’s 11-month Paralegal Training Program and was an immigration paralegal in both Los Angeles and Buffalo before joining CELJ. In addition to working with refugees, immigrants, and asylees – Hannah also provided services to the PEH (people experiencing homelessness) population in downtown Los Angeles working as a Community Health Worker for Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, during the height of the COVID pandemic.

In the future, Hannah plans to attend law school and become an attorney. Her passion for justice and advocacy of all people will always be at the forefront of her endeavors. When she is not working, Hannah enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, visiting family & friends, and relaxing at home with her two kitties – Wynonna and Beasley.
