BUFFALO, NEW YORK –Bria Lewis, Esq, a Staff Attorney at the Center for Elder Law & Justice, was included along with 29 other local professionals by Buffalo Business First in its 2023 class of 30 Under 30. Lewis was selected as a member of the 12th annual class of honorees by Buffalo Business First out of nearly 150 nominations. The winners will be honored at an awards event on April 26 at 4 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo, presented by Buffalo Business First and sponsored by Lakeshore Savings Bank and the University at Buffalo School of Management.

Buffalo Business First has selected a 30 Under 30 class since 2011. Among the factors considered: career achievements, leadership and initiative, community engagement, and each nominee’s potential to become a community leader on a grand scale. Lewis was nominated for her passionate devotion to health care advocacy at the Center for Elder Law & Justice, where she has been a Staff Attorney since 2020. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Lewis has advocated for nursing home residents through policy and case work. Lewis is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the District of Columbia.

Lewis serves on the Board of Directors for Amherst Senior Transportation Services and Child Voice, is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County, and serves in the children’s ministry at Life Church Buffalo.
